PASRR Level II Information
Acentra Health, formerly Kepro, contracts with the AHCA to serve as the Florida PASRR Level I and Level II vendor. For individuals residing in a community setting who do not have access to hospital or nursing home services, Acentra Health has been delegated by AHCA to complete an onsite PASRR Level I screening. These screenings will be completed within two business days.
Acentra Health has been completing PASRR Level II evaluations and determinations for the state of Florida for individuals with serious mental illness since 2007, and for individuals with intellectual disability and related conditions since early 2016.
Acentra Health utilizes a multidisciplinary approach. Acentra's professional staff, which include, psychologists, nurses, social workers, and physicians, works together to evaluate the appropriateness of nursing facility placement and the need for specialized services for each individual referred for PASRR/MI Level II evaluation.
Acentra adheres to the federal and state regulations governing the PASRR/MI process. The Level II evaluations must be completed within seven business days; however, they are completed on average within two days.
